The coastal home is designed to capture views of a local surf bar while creating privacy from new neighbouring homes. The end result is a modern getaway that will function exceptionally well when hosting family and friends or simply kicking back on the weekends.

RENOVATION: 100 Year Old Home Gets RefreshThis home has a long history in Tauranga, previously located in the Avenues more than 100 years ago. It was originally built by the Faulkners, a name synonymous with Tauranga. WELCOME OMARWith a background working in the construction industry and armed with an Bachelor of Architecture, Omar is fitting in well already with our team here who have also joined us via a similar pathway. Since arriving to NZ from Mexico in 2011, Omar has worked in the commercial window sector where he extended his knowledge and skills in commercial window systems. “I like learning (never ending in this industry!), and I look forward to contributing to design functionable and aesthetically pleasant buildings that can create a positive impact in the community.” Aside from being a hardworking father of three Mexi-Kiwi kids, Omar and his Chch OG wife have a passion for music (he plays guitar), sports, good films and cooking Mexican food. We are all hoping and patiently waiting to taste some of his dishes at our next CSpace gathering!
