Over the past 10 years, WeatherAll Solutions has been waterproofing window and door perimeters and complex junctions on residential, commercial and historic buildings with its CodeMark approved TRM WeatherAll waterproofing membrane.

Managing director, Mark Hazlehurst, is a building weathertightness specialist who recognised deficiencies in the way the building industry was remediating distressed buildings. He found not all buildings needed to be re-clad, and not all building owners could afford to.

Only TRM WeatherAll Registered Applicators are authorised to install TRM. Installers are all carefully vetted, trained and approved by WeatherAll Solutions’ management and their national trainer before gaining approval to use TRM on your home or building.

Straw Bale House Waterproofed with TRM

TRM recently waterproofed the windows and doors on a two storey straw bale house. The owner of the house was seeking a Code Compliance Certificate but the council wanted new mechanical flashings installed to the perimeters of the doors and windows.

Weatherall Solution's Registered TRM Applicator was able to install external flashings, sealing the junction between the uPVC joinery and the solid plaster without the need to install new metal or PVC flashings. The mechanical flashing alternative to TRM would have been costly, time consuming and destructive.

Ultimately, the use of TRM was an efficient and cost effective way for the owner to satisfy the council and obtain their much sought-after Code Compliance Certificate.
