JBH Building ICF Showhome 2019

We have enjoyed collaborating with JBH Building on many projects over the years, and this latest showhome is no exception.

JBH has completed several successful high spec residential builds utilising ICF (Insultated Concete Form) structures for other homes so it was a natural choice for Justin & Sally to specify ICF as a key priority in the design. They have seen for themselves the incredible advantages of this material in terms of durability, robustness and energy efficiency.

Following Justin & Sally’s ideas for their new home, we created this modern pavilion-style house which features two distinct bedroom wings bisected by a large living zone, resulting in a seamless connection between spaces and to the outside. 

The large format joinery units and high ceilings create volume and light. While the timber and stone material palette gives a solid connection to the natural surroundings and an sense of ease & comfort to this highly functional, versatile family home.
