Located on a stunning piece of elevated rural land in the hills of Welcome Bay is a new, three bedroom home. Designing for a client with a strong connection to the land and a modest budget, the Creative Space team produced a home that references New Zealand’s agricultural heritage.
The concept of the rural ‘Barn’ is modernised with dark corrugated roofing and cladding which is contrasted with a lighter, softer, timber interior. This home takes in spectacular views of Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, Tauranga and the Kaimai ranges, from the North-West facing floor to ceiling glass.
