Andre is the Director of Creative Space and has 12 years of practical experience as an Architectural Designer and 9 years experience as a residential and commercial builder. He was taught that sealants were not a form of weatherproofing and has used that ethic to form a unique understanding of weatherproofing, detailing and successful construction methods. Andre has a passion for designing functional living and working environments that maximize the value of any project.

In his time away from Creative Space, Andre is a dedicated husband and father of three children. The family enjoys snow boarding, wakeboarding, trips to the beach and any activity that brings them closer together.

Troy Dolman

Troy is our design studio manager and has been with the team since the start of 2009. Troy has practical experience in most of the building trades and with his Diploma in Architectural Technology has over 14 years of industry practice. His knowledge and on site skills, added with his eye for detail and love of design, lets him provide you with innovative designs and accurate construction documentation.

Troy balances his work life with time on the farm enjoying his wife and four kids. Troy is also one of our countries top paddlers and represents New Zealand in both White Water Rafting and Outrigger Canoeing.

Joanne Fredrickson

Architectural Technician & Remedial Technician

Joanne is a fully qualified senior draughts person with 12 years experience as an architectural technician. She has had extensive experience in design and detailing of residential and light commercial renovations and remedial work.

Joanne has a talent for working quickly and efficiently while maintaining an extremely high standard of information. So much so that we have implemented her processes throughout the practice, ensuring that we work as an efficient and cohesive team.

Joanne enjoys reading, watching movies, walking and staying healthy. Recently Joanne has been donating her time back into the community assisting the Riding for the Disabled program.

Regan Little

Regan joined Creative Space in June 2009 after having retrained in the architectural industry in 2006.

Regan has worked on a wide variety of projects and is committed to providing quality architectural documentation which is clear, practical and fully detailed for clients and trades people to follow. He has a passion for good architecture and an appreciation for fine detailing.

Outside of work, Regan finds himself enjoying time with his two young sons. He is currently renovating his house with his wife and enjoys the outdoors when he can, with a keen interest in fishing, running, swimming, snowboarding and travelling.

Caroline Harrop

With a background in accounting and finance, Caroline brings with her a wide range of skills and experience which allow her to be a highly efficient office manager for the team at Creative Space.

Caroline is a natural “people-person” who enjoys working with a wide range of personalities, circumstances and challenges that are all a normal part of the design environment. She will be the person who greets you when you next visit, and you are likely to speak with her on the phone when you call.

While her two sons take up a large part of her time outside of work, Caroline enjoys most sports and loves premiership football and cricket.

Steve Hunter

Steve joined Creative Space with an exceptionally strong background in the roofing industry. Starting out as a general tradesman, Steve has over 20 years’ experience which has seen his skills develop across multiple areas of the industry including roofing, tiling and building.

Even from his school days Steve remembers dreaming of becoming an architectural designer. While his dedication to his family saw him put this goal on the backburner, in 2010 Steve finally realised his dream when he graduated with a Diploma in Architectural Technology.

Aside from being very busy raising twins, Steve manages to fit in a wide range of interests including a love of fishing and diving, playing the guitar and listening to great music.
